The World Educational Cultural Aid worked with volunteers to spread warmth to our neighbors.

The World Educational Cultural Aid staff and volunteers announced that they conducted a briquette volunteer service at Ant Village in Hongje-dong, Seodaemun-gu on the 24th.

We put our sincerity and warmth into a total of 2,400 briquettes for the residents of Gaemi Village who live in vulnerable living conditions during the winter. The volunteers were of various age groups, including students and office workers, and there were also office workers who took time off to come.

As sponsorship of briquette support organizations decreased due to COVID-19, they felt the need to provide briquette support, so they began volunteering. They said they hoped to bring a little warmth to their neighbors who will be suffering from the cold even in April, which is especially cold this winter.

A volunteer said, "My body and mind have become cold due to the prolonged COVID-19, but I hope that the warm hearts of the volunteers will be conveyed to each household. We will continue to actively practice love for our neighbors so that we can help the underprivileged in need."

Meanwhile, the World Educational Cultural Aid is a non-profit NGO that takes the lead in supporting the education of children at home and abroad so that children who are deprived of educational and cultural opportunities can create visions and dreams.
