Members carried tongs and bags and moved along the trails and riversides to collect abandoned trash. Cigarette butts and plastic pieces were found all over the seemingly clean roadside, and the participants felt the seriousness of environmental problems as they took part in environmental cleanup activities.
One supporter who participated in the activity said, “Picking up trash myself made me feel much closer to environmental issues,” and “The experience of learning through action served as an opportunity to change my perception.” The members expressed their love for nature and the meaning of social responsibility through their sweat.

Bang Jeong-hwan, chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, emphasized, “Education does not stay only in the classroom,” and “Practice to protect life is also a valuable education.” He continued, “I hope that this plogging activity will be a living learning experience where you can learn firsthand the value of the environment.”
Under the philosophy that ‘education is life,’ the World Educational Cultural Aid continues to engage in various social contribution activities that connect learning with life. We plan to continue to create a sustainable society through daily practice with WECA supporters.
