This volunteer activity was designed to help stabilize the lives of the vulnerable during the winter. On this day, executives and employees visited households using briquettes in the Gahak-dong area and personally delivered a total of 5,000 briquettes. Because there were many alleys and sloping residential areas where vehicle access was difficult, the briquettes were moved one by one using hands and spoons, and executives and employees had time to communicate and exchange greetings with neighbors at the site.
Executives and employees who participated in the volunteer work continued to cooperate with each other in the process of transporting briquettes, and said that it was meaningful to share warm feelings with local residents beyond simple support. Even in the cold weather, the site was filled with the warmth of sharing, and the volunteer work was completed safely.

Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, “It is a small donation, but I hope it will help local neighbors endure the winter.” He added, “We will continue to carry out action-oriented social contribution activities that can be shared with the local community.”
Meanwhile, as an international educational NGO, the World Educational Cultural Aid is carrying out educational and cultural support projects at home and abroad, while also carrying out various social contribution activities in solidarity with the local community. This briquette service is also part of these activities, and we plan to expand the sharing program with our neighbors in the future.
