The World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) recently supported cultural programs for single mother families in Korea.
Single-mother families in our society often face increased parenting stress due to economic difficulties as well as lack of cultural and leisure opportunities. Accordingly, the World Educational Cultural Aid focused on helping psychological stability and emotional healing and strengthening the bond between parents and children through family viewing of performances.
Bang Jeong-hwan, CEO of the World Educational Cultural Aid, emphasized, “The time when a child and mother can laugh together is the most precious beginning of education,” and added, “We will continue to expand cultural and educational support so that vulnerable families can stand proudly in society.”
Meanwhile, the World Educational Cultural Aid operates a variety of programs for children in educationally underprivileged areas around the world and is active as an international non-profit organization that spreads the culture of sharing and donation.
