The World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA), in cooperation with the Inje Office of Education and the Inje County Family Center, held the ‘Different Sketchbook Drawing Contest’ for children and adolescents in need of special education.
The purpose of this drawing contest is to help children express their own individuality and emotions through drawing, and through this, to spread a culture of acknowledging and respecting each other's differences. Participants freely sketched against the backdrop of nature and told their stories, and works that reflected the children's honest perspectives were created one after another.
WECA CEO Bang Jeong-hwan said, “A culture that respects differences is the starting point for better education,” and added, “The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to do its best to create an educational and cultural environment where children’s potential is respected.”
Meanwhile, the World Educational Cultural Aid operates various programs for underprivileged children around the world and is known as an international non-profit organization that takes the lead in spreading the culture of sharing and donation.
