[Global Epic Reporter Hwang Seong-su] On February 28, the World Educational Cultural Aid delivered 1,000 kg of rice to Gwacheon City Hall.
The World Educational Cultural Aid opened the Rice Sharing Happy Bean fundraising box for vulnerable groups and families with underprivileged children, and delivered 1,000 kg, a portion of the 2,000 kg of rice raised through this, to Gwacheon City Hall. The delivered rice is scheduled to be distributed to 100 households receiving basic livelihood security and low-income families who are having difficulty due to rising prices.
“There are still many neighbors who are starving,” said Bang Jeong-hwan, president of the World Educational Cultural Aid. “Small hearts come together to create a miracle that saves lives.”
Meanwhile, an official at Gwacheon City Hall expressed gratitude to the World Educational Cultural Aid and the sponsors who raised funds, saying, “This is heartwarming news that comes after the winter and the arrival of spring.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international relief non-profit organization that develops sponsorship programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and is at the forefront of spreading a donation culture.
