[Citizen Ilbo = Seungjun Lee] The World Educational Cultural Aid announced on March 31 that it had signed a business agreement with Guro Public Community Children's Center, a local children's center in the region.

The World Educational Cultural Aid and the Guro Public Community Children's Center plan to cooperate with each other to support program planning and operation for children in the Guro-gu region, recruit children to participate in the program, support basic education, and support cultural activities.

Along with the signing ceremony, a ceremony was held to hand over online education supplies, such as laptops and headsets, to children who were having difficulties due to lack of non-face-to-face online education supplies due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19.

The World Educational Cultural Aid said, “We are pleased to provide educational and cultural opportunities to more children through this agreement,” and added, “We will continue to work with more organizations to improve children’s welfare in order to improve the educational and cultural welfare of domestic children.”

The World Educational Cultural Aid is a non-profit corporation under the jurisdiction of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. It works to support education for the underprivileged and spread a donation culture, and practices sharing through cultural exchange and cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations and institutions.
