The COVID-19 support campaign is being explained to residents at the World Educational Cultural Aid event venue.

The World Educational Cultural Aid, an international relief development and education support NGO located in Guro-gu, announced on the 25th that it would hold a free mask and hand sanitizer sharing event at Hyundai D Cube City Plaza in Sindorim to comfort and provide some strength to local residents in Guro-gu who are exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19.

In order to take care of the hearts of local residents in Guro-gu, who are shrinking and frozen due to the continuous news of confirmed COVID-19 cases every day, the World Educational Cultural Aid practices sharing hope by providing COVID-19 prevention supplies and delivering guerrilla cheering messages. This event was held with the cooperation of Hyundai D Cube City in providing the venue, and it was reported that over 1,000 masks, 2,000 disposable hand sanitizers, and letters of encouragement were distributed.

On this day, the World Educational Cultural Aid took to the streets to comfort and encourage local citizens, conveying that they once again felt the vivid hearts of citizens who desperately hoped for an end to COVID-19 and wanted to live together in harmony.

Accordingly, Bang Jeong-hwan, executive chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, “As the COVID-19 situation prolongs, the culture of social distancing and mask wearing, which has become a daily culture, can easily turn into a culture of distancing and being stingy about even looking after our neighbors and extending a helping hand. In such cases, the World Educational Cultural Aid will further take the lead and continue to provide a wide range of customized support to our neighbors who are suffering directly or indirectly due to COVID-19.”

Next, the World Educational Cultural Aid plans to provide medical supplies to medical staff and volunteers at medical institutions in the Daegu area who are fighting the coronavirus in a remarkably poor environment.
