Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 25th that its women's products brand La Nature and actress Park Jin-hee will donate La Nature sanitary pads that can be used by 500 people for six months in celebration of World Menstruation Day.

This donation began when actress Park Jin-hee, who is considered a representative eco-celebrity and is nicknamed ‘Eco Genie’ for her interest in and practice of eco-friendliness, expressed her intention to donate a portion of La Nature’s model fees. Accordingly, La Nature also decided to donate the same amount of sanitary pads and plans to provide sanitary pads to female youth in need through cooperation with the World Educational Cultural Aid.

Actress Park Jin-hee has continued to make sincere efforts, such as donating her talents, to raise awareness of the seriousness of the climate crisis and increase interest in the environment. This donation of sanitary pads also reflects my convictions, which I have been practicing by actively raising my voice on social issues.

Regarding this donation, Jinhee Park said, “I hope to establish a social culture where anyone can experience menstruation safely and healthily as an equal right, and I am truly happy to be able to provide some help to those who experience inconvenience due to menstruation.”

A Yuhan-Kimberly official said, “We will strive to establish ourselves as a brand that creates a positive influence not only on the environment but also on society through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management practices.”
