The World Educational Cultural Aid announced on the 17th that it recently delivered grocery kits, including rice cake soup, gomtang, rice cups, and snacks, to about 100 children at local children's centers through the 'Bountiful Lunar New Year' campaign during the last Lunar New Year holiday.
The Bountiful Lunar New Year Campaign is a campaign that delivers grocery kits filled with the warmth of the holiday to children who do not properly celebrate the holiday or have difficulty accessing Lunar New Year food due to their family circumstances.

Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, “We have prepared a food support kit for children from underprivileged families who will face an even more lonely holiday amidst the increasing coronavirus situation.” He added, “The Lunar New Year box may not be able to solve all the hardships and loneliness, but I hope that by having a happy Lunar New Year with warm food, you can feel that there are always neighbors around you with warmth that you can lean on just a little bit.”
This Lunar New Year grocery kit was made up of donations from 551 people from Shinhan Bank and Habeepin.
The World Educational Cultural Aid said, “We will continue to pay more attention to underprivileged neighbors and take the lead in promoting children’s healthy dreams and education through continuous social contribution activities.”
