[Global Epic Reporter Hwang Seong-su] In November 2022, the World Educational Cultural Aid promoted the Piggy Bank of Love donation fund-raising to provide quality education to children in poor areas overseas, and held a ceremony to hand over the funds raised on January 4, 2023.

To celebrate the Year of the Pig in 2023, the World Educational Cultural Aid delivered rabbit-shaped piggy banks to several daycare centers in Osan City in connection with the Osan City Family Daycare Center Association, and a total of 78 daycare centers participated in the fundraising. This fundraiser was raised to support overseas orphans and kindergarten facilities in poor countries. Through this, a total of 4,445,980 won was raised, and the entire amount will be used to support the education of children in poor areas overseas.

“It is meaningful that the warm hearts of domestic children are conveyed to poor children of the same age overseas,” said Bang Jeong-hwan, president of the World Educational Cultural Aid. “I hope that children at home and abroad will continue to be able to receive quality education without any worries in the future.”

Meanwhile, the Osan City Family Daycare Association, which participated in this fundraising, expressed its feelings, saying, "Children are the dream trees of the future. I am really happy to be able to help support overseas children."

The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international relief non-profit organization that develops sponsorship programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and takes the lead in spreading the donation culture.
