The World Educational Cultural Aid provided hearing aids worth 13 million won to hearing-impaired children.
Many children with hearing impairment use old and broken hearing aids due to the high cost of hearing aids, or live inconveniently without hearing aids at all. The World Educational Cultural Aid recruited 10 hearing-impaired children from difficult circumstances through the Samsung Sorisam Welfare Center and provided them with hearing aids worth a total of 13 million won.
Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, stated the purpose of this hearing aid support project, saying, “Even sick children should be given equal opportunities for education.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international relief non-profit organization that develops educational and cultural programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and takes the lead in spreading the donation culture.
