On Wednesday, June 21, the World Educational Cultural Aid held the first joint academic conference with Soongsil Institute for Peace and Unification.

This joint academic conference was held in the Kim Deok-yoon Chapel at the Han Kyung-jik Memorial Hall at Soongsil University. Starting with a welcoming speech by Shin Yo-an, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Soongsil University, and a congratulatory speech by Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, heated presentations and discussions were held on the direction of adaptation and support for youth defectors from North Korea and youth from multicultural families.

In addition to the organizers, World Educational Cultural Aid Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan, Soongsil University Vice President for Academic Affairs Yoan Shin, and Professor Jeon Soo-mi, who served as moderator, the conference was attended by Dr. Kim Young-mi, Dr. Jeon Soon-young, Dr. Park Byeong-ae, and Dr. Baek Mi-soon of the Soongsil Institute for Peace and Unification, who were in charge of presentations and discussions, as well as Professor Jang Moon-kyung of Gachon University's Department of Business Administration, Dr. It shined.Meanwhile, Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, conveyed the significance of this academic conference, saying, “Through this opportunity, we will discuss various challenges and success stories, explore new ways to support youth, and hope that our efforts and research can contribute to bringing about real change and growth.”

The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international relief non-profit organization that develops educational and cultural programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and takes the lead in spreading the donation culture.
