[Global Epic Reporter Hwang Seong-su] The World Educational Cultural Aid supported a ‘winter sports program’ for children at local children’s centers in Korea.
In celebration of the easing of social distancing restrictions, the World Educational Cultural Aid supported snow sledding and winter sports experiences for low-income children and youth at the Seed Area Children's Center. This was an educational and cultural experience session for children who had not been able to participate in outdoor cultural activities for three years due to COVID-19.
Bang Jeong-hwan, president of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, “I feel sorry for the children who were stuck indoors when they should have been running around and playing,” adding, “We will continue to seek ways to support our children’s education in the future.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international relief non-profit organization that develops sponsorship programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and takes the lead in spreading the donation culture.
