The World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) announced on the 30th that it held a ceremony to distribute samgyetang to the underprivileged at the Jungmyeon Administrative Welfare Center.
This sharing was carried out by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) to spread the donation culture and practice sharing of love by delivering samgyetang to the elderly and vulnerable residents of Jung-myeon during the hot summer.
In Jung-myeon, members of the Community Security Council visited seniors over 70 years old and vulnerable families living in Jung-myeon and delivered samgyetang.
Kim Hak-yong, chairman of the Community Security Council, said, "The World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA)'s sharing event has become a way to check on the well-being of the elderly who must have been having a hard time in the heat wave that continues day after day. We thank the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) once again, and we will continue to frequently visit the elderly and vulnerable groups to check on each other's well-being."
Lee Chang-hee, head of Jung-myeon, said, “We would like to thank the officials of the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) for showing their love through warm donations and the members of the Jung-myeon Community Security Council who work hard even in the hot weather. We will pay more attention to helping the elderly and vulnerable groups in the village get through the hot weather well.”
