[Beyond Post Reporter Kim Shin] On August 12, the World Educational Cultural Aid co-hosted and conducted a green donation campaign with Beautiful Store, a non-profit foundation.
The Green Donation Campaign is a good product donation that donates various items such as clothing and home appliances that are not used at home and sells them through Beautiful Store, and uses the proceeds to support grandparents, single seniors, low-income single-person households, and those vulnerable to the climate crisis, helping to solve environmental problems.
The Green Donation Campaign, co-hosted by the World Educational Cultural Aid, went beyond simply donating goods and aimed to promote coexistence with the local community and spread a sustainable donation culture. In addition to the employee product sponsorship campaign, the World Educational Cultural Aid sponsored a total of 2,000 items, equivalent to approximately 40 million won when converted to money.
Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, “I hope that this Green Donation Campaign will be a great help to those in need.” He added, “The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to encourage donation culture through various activities and strive to spread the right donation culture.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid is an international educational non-profit organization that develops educational and cultural programs for children in educational blind spots around the world, practices sharing so that those in need can live with hope, and is at the forefront of spreading a donation culture.
