The web drama ‘Bright Day’ deals with the end and separation from someone that people have no choice but to face at least once in their lives. Through the subject matter of ‘longing’, we plan to provide comfort to those who have lost someone and are bound to lose someone someday as time passes.
Director Lee Tae-young said, "I always carry in my heart the longing for my father who passed away suddenly. In the past, when it came to longing, I only thought of sadness. But when I experienced a big separation from the person I loved more than my own life, the feeling of longing was not only sadness. There were also affection, beautiful memories, and good memories and scents. Rather than making the separation just dark and depressing, I wanted to beautifully capture the various emotions in the longing." explained. He added, “If this work brings warmth to someone’s cold heart, I am grateful for that alone.”
He also said, “Through the World Educational Cultural Aid through production cooperation, a channel has been opened to help Tanzania albinos in a practical way.” He added, “The script included information about sponsorship, so when I asked if there was anyone who could actually help, he told me about albinos. I was so moved to tears that I could once again include Tanzanian albinos, which is the reason I established the Homage Acting Academy, in depth in my work, and send them sunscreen and help them live. Thank you for making me constantly create dramas that save someone’s life. “I thank God,” he said.

Actor Chae Song-hwa, who is familiar to viewers through works such as the sitcom ‘Smashing on Your Back’ and the movie ‘Gone with the Wind’, appears as a unique and unique character. Actress Choi Sung-hee, who has a wide spectrum of awards, including the grand prize in the acting category at the Korea Hallyu Culture Awards, musical actress Lee Dam, who showed off her timeless masterpiece in the movie ‘If I Got the Chance Again’, and actress Han Hye-jeong, who is called the ‘second Kim Hee-ae’ and who showed warm acting in the web drama ‘The Day Before Filming’, are also participating. Baek Rok-dam, a unique actor who made viewers laugh with his 'water change' ad-lib in the web drama 'Wise NGO Life', Min-hye Yoon, who has emerged as a hot actress among casting officials, and rising stars such as Ye-ji Park, Min-gyeol, and Min-young Chae, who are leaders of the next generation, will appear.
Child actress Park Chae-ah was named for a special appearance in the role of Ye Ha-seong, who holds the key to the drama's twist and tears.
Director Nam Ji-yeon, who is the CEO of Heroduction and a rapper, was in charge of managing the staff and editing. Actor Lee Ji-hyuk, who appeared in the web drama ‘The Day Before Filming’, will become the assistant director and lead the scene. Director Kim Hye-jeong, who is famous for her stable sound in the Chungmuro film industry and on billboards, stepped forward as the simultaneous director.

The web drama ‘Bright Day’ has confirmed its entire cast and will begin filming for the first time on July 17th at all locations in Ganghwa Island.
